Here’s what you need:
- Turkey sausage 200g
- Water 1 cup
- Turnip (medium diced) ½ cup
- Yams (medium diced) 1 cup
- Butter 1 tbsp
- Fresh garlic (minced) 1 tsp
- Cinnamon ¼ tsp
- Salt ½ tsp
- Pepper 1 pinch
- Paprika 1 pinch
(Servings: 1 large or 2 small)
Instructions
Cook turkey sausage in a large pot of simmering boiled water for 10 minutes. While the sausage is cooking, preheat a large non-stick frying pan on medium heat. Add water, turnip and yams. Cover and simmer for 10minutes. Drain water and return to heat. Add butter and sauté until nicely browned. Add garlic, cinnamon salt, pepper and paprika and cook for 1 minute more. Serve turkey sausage and hash browns together on a plate. Enjoy!
